see what I did there? (hallo is german for hello) I couldn't help but add some adele into the title of this post since it's applicable every time I talk to my friends and family back home, haha.
it's crazy to be back in the beautiful country of switzerland + I keep pinching myself because all last year I kept calling it a "once in a lifetime opportunity," yet here I am for the second time. however, I am not living with the same family nor am I teaching english; I am nannying a family of 5--soon to be 6 children (the ruetz's) that I met during my stay last time!
during a weekend visit with the ruetz's last year, the parents asked me how I would feel about returning + nannying for them someday....to which I responded that unless it was summertime I didn't think it would be possible with school and such, but to stay in touch and let me know if there was a possibility in the future. sure enough we communicated all year long and then d (the mom) emailed me several months ago to tell me that they are expecting baby #6 + asking if I was still up for being a summer nanny! (;
I am thrilled to be back + I have already had some wonderful experiences as well as some challenging experiences.
living abroad is something that I recommend for anyone + everyone and I hope that through blogging I will be able to remember + share the things that I am learning + experiencing here in europe!
