WARNING: this is going to be a long post.
Before coming here several people asked if I would be keeping a journal...my response was always the same, "I have never really enjoyed journaling and I don't want to take the time to write down every little detail of my day." Most people were shocked by my answer but I didn't really think twice about it UNTIL we had some dear friends over. As we were all chatting Aly asked if I was going to take a journal with me in which I rolled my eyes and gave her the same response that I had given everyone, "I don't really enjoy journaling and I don't want to take the time each day...." Immediately Aly and my brother, Brock, began to chastise me for such an answer and then went on to share why they think journaling is important. I didn't act really interested while they were talking but I knew that they were right; I needed to pack a journal with me...so I did! I have it setting on the table in my room but I have only written in it once. However, I made this blog for the exact purpose of journaling (plus my mom asked me to,haha) and I hope to keep it updated. I want this to be a space that is honest and real so that when I go back to read it someday I will remember both the positives and the negatives. I am by no means a writer so please bare with me. Thank you for following along on this incredible journey with me, I am so grateful for all of the love and support that I have received.
